About Phoenix Equipment buys and sells used chemical process equipment and plants for relocation. Our industry focus includes process plants and machinery in the chemical, petrochemical, fertilizer, refining, gas processing, power generation, pharmaceutical and food manufacturing industries.
We have extensive experience acquiring processing plants and process lines that require the execution of complex dismantlement, demolition and decommissioning projects. Based in Red Bank, New Jersey, USA, we have team members located in China, India, Germany and relationships throughout the world.
Manufacturers use synthesis gas, or “syngas” for fuel to produce electricity and as feedstock for production of industrial chemicals such as ammonia, methanol, and other hydrogen-rich compounds. Once isolated and purified, hydrogen from syngas is a major component in petrochemicals and oil refining. Syngas itself is a mixture primarily of hydrogen and carbon monoxide, created through the gasification of hydrocarbons in natural gas, coal, petroleum, biomass, and other feedstocks.
Virtually all the hydrogen produced in the United States is produced from methane. And the cheapest, most available source of methane is natural gas.
Steam Methane Reforming Steam methane reforming (SMR) accounts for about 95 percent of the industrial hydrogen produced domestically and about half the world’s production. The process begins with the introduction of superheated (1,300 to 1,800 degrees Fahrenheit) steam and natural gas into an array of vertically hanging tubes filled. The manufacturing of nitric acid for use in fertilizers, plastics, dyes, textiles, and other industrial products, has evolved to three industry-standard processes. They all produce acid with 60-68% concentration, and each uses essentially the same nitric acid plant design. The choice between medium- and high-pressure mono and dual-pressure production process often comes down to financial considerations and owner priorities. Nitric Acid Production Technology While nitric acid plant technology has made production more efficient and environmental controls more effective, the process remains the same: Ammonia combustion in the presence of hot air and a platinum/rhodium catalyst creates nitric oxide (NO).
Oxidation of the NO creates nitrogen dioxide (NO2). The NO is cooled and compressed as it travels to the absorption tower.
The cooling process creates nitrogen dioxide and produces heat, which is recycled for use in other plant operations. Absorption of the NO2 in wat. The main uses of formaldehyde are urea formaldehyde (UF) resin, used as a binder in particle board and medium density fiberboard (MDF); melamine formaldehyde (MF) resin, used in laminates; phenol formaldehyde (PF) resin, used as an insulation binder in laminates, and high-tech automobile and aviation applications; and rigid polyurethane (PU) foams, used in construction where superior insulating and mechanical properties are needed. Formaldehyde is primarily produced as a 37% aqueous solution, which makes trade costly, as there is less than two-fifths of formaldehyde per unit of liquid, thus increasing the amount of solution that needs to be delivered, which in turn increases transportation costs. Formaldehyde prices are set on a quarterly basis and track methanol feedstock. In Europe, formaldehyde is usually consumed locally. Polioli SpA was a major formaldehyde producer in Italy.
During the past 45 years, Polioli developed its formaldehyde process reaching a very high level of e.
Steven Pellnitz I have been conducting business with Kaps-All Packaging Systems for over 10 years now. I was first introduced to Kaps-All at a Packaging show where I visited their booth.
What attracted me to their booth was the clean styling and overall appearance of their machines they had on display. Since that time I have purchased a total of 20 machines with 2 active open quotes for some additional equipment. I currently utilize their bottle unscramblers, bottle cleaners, bottle cappers, bottle over cappers, and label machines. Kaps-All's spare parts department is a breeze to work with and they have awesome turn around time on the parts I need. I have worked with them in obtaining change parts as new containers present themselves and have attended FAT's at their facilities.
I will continue to do business with Kaps-All in the future. Their machine design, stainless steel offerings/options are a nice match for our food facility. Fritz Waltjen We purchased an Unscrambler from Kaps-All recently. We set the machine up to the recipe provided by Kaps-All and it ran beautifully the first time. I did not need to play with the settings provided to get it to run, it simply ran when turned on after following Kaps-All's setup. The sale was flawless, all deadlines were met or exceeded. The machine was crated well and survived shipping from New York To Los Angeles with no issues at all.
We run 5 - 8 hour shifts per week. The machine is running for 80% of that time. We have 5 containers 4 Oz to 1 Gallon and they all work great in the machine. We also have two jars that with some retooling also run on the machine without a hiccup. We also own a caper (A6) we purchased on the secondary market.
The Kaps-All team did not let us down. After registering the machine Kaps-All helped us get the machine running our caps with minimal change parts. In fact we are currently working with Mike at Kaps-All to introduce another container and cap to this line. Any company that will support secondary owners and do it well is like gold. Kaps all is like platinum to me. I know my solved problems are a short phone call away. Anthony Brzozowski We have been working to create a filling line at our new facility, and purchased the Au-3 Bottle Unscrambler. On top of having a helpful staff that addressed all of our concerns, the FAT was the most in depth and informative I have been involved with (thanks to Mike and Stan). The machine has held up to well over a million bottles in the past year, without as much as a jam or hitch - I think we had a power outage once that required the power to be reset- that was quite literally our only hangup. For the quality and price, I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this company in the future. Featured in these fine publications.
